The following is from a debate with a Moslem on
the Facebook site " Islam Is A Blessing Alhamdulillah " between the administrator of that page and
myself.
The posts made by the site
administrator were sequential and were compressed into one post for this blog,
as were my replies . I was later banned from this site.
In regards to my opponent, I'm
sure he is a sincere Muslim but that does not mean he is not wrong or that he
is lying about his faith or twisting the facts. Also, he apparently copied his
posts from another site that I later determined, whereas I made certain I
quoted what I used from another site and included my own thoughts too. My
source(s) are either mentioned within the body of my replies or below them, for
your consideration.

From: Islam Is A Blessing
Alhamdulillah
I.M. Ulysses, everyone has the
right to an opinion, but your words are just plain vile! it is unacceptable! Please stop talking bad about our Prophet
(PBUH). When did the prophet slaughter Jew and Christians? do you have complete
knowledge of the prophet's relationship with Christians? The earliest
interfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims occurred near the beginning
of Muhammad's prophet hood. The Prophet and his companions were greatly
oppressed by the polytheists of Makkah. Muhammad sent some of his followers to
seek refuge with the Negus of Abyssinia - a righteous and just Christian king.
He listened to the Prophet's emissary with great respect and awe, especially
the Qur'anic description of Mary and Jesus. This description led the king and
his subjects to affirm that this indeed was God's revelation, and gladly grant
the Muslims asylum they sought. The Prophet recognized Christians as one of the
"People of the Book." He treated them with respect and kindness,
contracted treaties with the various Christian tribes, and he assured them the
freedom to practice their faith and determine their own affairs while living
under Islamic law. One noteworthy example is when a large delegation of
Christians from Najran visited the Prophet in Madinah. He received them with
great hospitality, and they stayed at the Prophet's Mosque. When they wanted to
leave the Mosque and go outside to perform their church services, the Prophet
surprised them by offering the use of
his Mosque. Although they did not reach an agreement on all matters of faith,
they left Madinah with a treaty of peace and cooperation given to them by the Prophet.
This, and similar incidents, are the
examples for Muslims and Christians to emulate in the pursuit of better
interfaith relations. It is a widespread belief that Islam was spread by the
sword. There are two main reasons showing that this was in fact not the case. First,
the Messenger of Mercy, Prophet Muhammad, proclaimed that he would adhere to
God’s commandments. And contrary to forcing people to accept Islam, God explicitly
prohibited forced conversion: “There is no compulsion in faith” (Qur’an 2:256) There
is an interesting story related to the revelation of this verse. A man, who was
among the companions of the Prophet, had two sons who embraced Christianity
before the emergence of the religion of Islam. The two sons came to Medina among
a group of Christians, and at that time their father insisted that they both
should become Muslims. However, they refused their father’s request and brought
the matter before the Prophet. The father asked, “Oh Prophet of Allah, how could part of me enter hell
while I am watching?” It was then that God revealed the above verse forbidding
any compulsion in religion. Thus, the man’s two sons were free to remain
Christians. The Messenger of Mercy did not force them to become Muslims
according to their father’s wish. In another verse, the Qur’an says: “But had
your Lord so willed, all who are on the earth would have believed in your
message, each one of them and all of them together - will you then be the one
to compel people so that they become believers, O Prophet?” (10:99). All admit,
even those who accuse the Prophet of forced
conversions, that the Prophet was a God-fearing person who obeyed Him
whole-heartedly in everything. How, then, can he violate these explicit divine commands?
There are even authentically recorded incidents in which the Prophet advised
some individuals not to accept Islam for a time being, due to their safety. In one instance, a person by the name of Amr bin
Abasa Assulami came from a far distance to Mecca to embrace Islam. It was a
time when Muslims were persecuted in
Mecca and it was extremely difficult to meet the Prophet. Somehow, Amr managed
to find the Prophet and he expressed his desire to embrace Islam. The Prophet,
however, told him that he should not embrace Islam at that time, since the
situation between the Prophet and his people was dangerous. The Prophet then advised Amr to go back to his family
until the victory of the Prophet becomes apparent. It was not until
approximately 7-8 years later that Amr met the Prophet again to embrace Islam.
Surely, had the Prophet been only concerned with converting people despite
their own safety, he would not have advised Amr to return to his family on
account of the imminent danger.
It is true that the Prophet was
extremely keen to convey God’s message and to lead people to salvation. The
Qur’an describes this eagerness: “Would you, perhaps, torment yourself to death
with grief over them if they are not willing to believe in this message?”
(18:6). But this eagerness never prompted him to convert even a single person
against his will.
Second, there is no historical
evidence suggesting that the Prophet Muhammad acted contrary to the principle
that there should be no compulsion in religion. There is not a single recorded
instance in the Prophet’s thoroughly documented life of such an incident.
Although some early Western historians advanced such claims, more recent
studies have shown that conversions did not happen suddenly at the point of the
sword, but when people living alongside Muslims gradually and genuinely
accepted the faith voluntarily. Indeed, it is as the Orientalist George Sale
said: “Whoever says that Islam spread by the power of the sword, his/her word is a pure allegation, because the
sword was not even mentioned in many countries and Islam spread there.”
Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the
nation of India, once said, “I became more than ever convinced that it was not
the sword that won a place in Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was
the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous
regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his
intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and his own mission.”
The famous French historian
Gustaf Lobon stated in his book, Arab Civilization, “Power was not a factor in
the spread of Islam; that’s because Arabs left the people they vanquished free
to practice their own religion." Another famous European writer, Thomas
Carlayle, said: “Accusing [the Prophet] of relying on the sword for people to
respond to his preaching is incomprehensible nonsense!”
History, logic, objectivity, and
scholarly research all reject the notion that the Prophet Muhammad forced his
religion on unwilling masses. It was voluntary acceptance and the utter
conviction of the truth of Islam that caused mass conversions in many countries.
Indonesia, Malaysia, China and several South Asian countries are telling
examples of this reality. We can see a glimpse of this today – though in a less
dramatic way – in Europe and North America where in those continents Islam is the fastest growing
religion.
In regards to you calling our
prophet a pedophile, the age of consent
in one of the American States was just 7 years, just 120 years ago! But the
Western people did not know that and just criticized Islam and Muslims for the
marriage of the Mohammed and Aisha more than 1400 years ago! Double Standard. One
of the Prophet’s goals in this marriage was to strengthen the bond of his
brotherhood with Abu Bakr, who was his main defender against the Meccans.
Second, Aisha was of a lineage
known for honor and intelligence. The Prophet knew that she would tremendously
benefit his nation (ummah) by transmitting crucial knowledge from his life, especially
family and personal matters that others were not privy to. Indeed, the Prophet
advised his community to learn half of the knowledge of the religion from
Aisha. The foresight of the Prophet proved itself, for she would live for 45
years after his death, and thus became
one of the main sources of Prophetic wisdom and knowledge.
I.M. Ulysses reply:
You right some compelling history
and it is hard to digest it all because much of it is wrong. Let's start with
the first and main premise, that Mohammed was and is a 'prophet.' According to
the Bible, he was not and 'Allah' is not God. That is the first premise and it
is based on this verse (and other)
verses in Scripture "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that
called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another;
but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach
any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
Galatians 1: 6-8. ON THAT BASIS ALONE, as a Christian, I am bound to reject any
further comment on the basis of Mohammed is any kind of 'prophet'
and his Koran any more than a collection of lies drawn from his imagination.
Now to get to the nitty gritty of
your article. I agree Mohammed said and believed we Christians were the 'people
of the Book' because we are. We firmly believe in the Bible to the EXCLUSION of
all other religious texts, including the Koran. One wonders, therefore, why
your so-called 'prophet' didn't likewise? Well if he had, Mohammed would have
been a Christian not a Muslim. But Mohammed had other dreams.
Orphaned at a young age, Mohammed
was raised by his uncle, Abu Talib, a camel herder. In those days, according to
one article, "there were pagan religious traditions in Arabia,
particularly among those based in the trading centers such as Muhammad's
birthplace of Mecca. Some of these towns had Kaabas - cube-like structures that
would attract pilgrims during holy months. The Kaaba at Mecca housed various
idols, including the black meteorite that remains to this day."
The author then points out
something unique, which most Muslims do not understand. "In addition to
the black rock, Muhammad's Quraish tribe worshipped a moon god called Allah.
Other gods were recognized as well. In fact, the town of Mecca was renowned for
religious tolerance, where people of all faiths could come and pray at the
Kaaba. (This would later change once Muhammad gained the power to establish his
authority by force)."
Right off the bat, we see that
the god Mohammed revered at the ONE god was really the pagan deity 'Allah' or
the god of the crescent moon, which adorns every mosque and even many flags of countries where
Islam dominates. Likewise it is understandable that Mecca had religious tolerance
because in a society where there was
many gods, one could hardly be thought to dominate the others, so a level of
tolerance was provided...for now, until Mohammed made his own god the ONLY god
to worship.
According to the writer,
"Islam was created both from these crude pagan practices and from the
basic theological elements of Christianity and Judaism as Muhammad [often
erroneously] understood them (his inaccurate interpretation of Christianity,
for example, is often attributed to an early experience with fringe cults in
the Palestinian region, then known as Syria)."
How did this creation come about?
At age 40, after being married for 15 years to a Khadija, a woman who was 15
years older than himself, he claimed to have had 'revelations' after seeing the
angel Gabriel in a dream. These continued for 23 years of his life. This led
him to believe that he was a 'prophet' and he set about trying to convince
others of that belief.
About 1200 years later, another
man, Joseph Smith, the Founder of the Mormon Faith, said something similar. He
was seeking truth and an angel came to him and told him that all the churches
were false and provided him, like Mohammed, a 'new gospel' called the Book of
Mormon (I'm simplifying the story here to save space), called himself a
'prophet' and started to spread his words too.
AS a Christian this gives me
pause for thought. My faith rejects both Mohammed's and Joseph Smith's claims,
and yet both claims are similarly founded; a dream of an angel that told them
that all churches are false. The Bible says that "For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of
Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the
ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
(2 Corinthians 11: 13-15)
So, now, again, according to the
BIBLE, the 'Book' as Mohammed calls it, both Mohammed and Joseph Smith are
FALSE APOSTLES, deceived by an angel, Satan, that confounded them by appearing
as an 'angel of light.' Mohammed, being deceived, then deceived others and
started the religion of Islam.
Islam, like Mormonism, is based
on the words of one man, who was deceived by a false angel, the devil, who
appeared as an angel of light. Some say Mohammed just borrowed teachings from
other faiths and combined them to make his own. That's possible but if we take
Mohammed at his word, that he saw an angel, Gabriel, then we must know and
accept, that this angel could not be the Gabriel of Scripture for Gabriel, in
the Bible, says "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from
God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose
name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the
angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord
is with thee: blessed art thou among
women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her
mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her,
Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt
conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God
shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the
house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." (Luke
1: 26-33"
The term 'called the Son of God'
has confused some people but especially Muslims because they reject that Jesus
was actually born of God. But this same Jesus is also referred to AS GOD in
John 1: 1-14. In that Jesus is identified as THE WORD, and the Word was MADE
FLESH and the WORD WAS GOD. Therefore Christ is GOD, Jesus is GOD and Jesus
never mentioned Mohammed. So Mohammed, again, was not of God. If therefore
Mohammed was not of God, Mohammed was not a prophet. And if he was not a
prophet then he was a liar. And if he is a lair then your souls are in great
jeopardy for you reject the truth of God in Jesus and accept the lies of
Mohammed instead.
As for how Islam was spread. I maintain that
you are not being honest, in accordance with Taqiyya and Kitman, lying to infidels
like me. You quoted George Sale but I have no record he said that, except on
the site where your article appears to come from - see link below. In this I
must confess to you that you are being very deceptive to me. You are not using
your knowledge to look for truth but being directed by others to use another's.
Moreover that history is very suspicious
as I will show you in my following material in the next post. - Source of my Moslem opponent's article is here - http://mercyprophet.org/mul/node/3331
("Did Prophet Muhammad
spread Islam by the sword and force people to accept his religion?" )
According to Wikipedia, George Sale
(1697-1736) was an 'orientalist' who studied and then translated the Koran into
English. He was a member of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge.
According to this article, "(George) Sale did not, did not, however, place
Islam at an equal level with Christianity." Indeed, in his forward to the
translation of His Koran, he wrote "The remembrance of the calamities
brought on so many nations by the conquests of the Arabians may possibly raise
some indignation against him who formed them to empire; but this being equally
applicable to all conquerors, could not, of itself, occasion
all the detestation with which the name of Mohammed is loaded. He has given a
new system of religion, which has had still greater success than the arms of
his followers, and to establish this religion made use of an imposture; and on
this account it is supposed that he must of necessity have been a most
abandoned villain, and his memory is become infamous. But as Mohammed gave his
Arabs the best religion he could, as well as the best laws, preferable. at
least, to those of the ancient pagan lawgivers."
Sale ACKNOWLEDGED that Islam was
spread "by 'conquests' UNLIKE the claims made in that false article you
quoted. Likewise George sale said he felt Mohammed was equal in respect NOT to
Moses or Jesus because THEIR LAWS CAME FROM HEAVEN (Mohammed's didn't) but did
earn some lower kind of respect with Numa nor Minos, because as a leader,
though not a prophet, he gave the Arabs laws better than their pagan ancestors
did. I would argue he didn't because Mohammed didn't give them the Gospel of
Jesus since he was determined to set up himself as a leader and a conqueror.
But not right away.
According to one historian,
"In the beginning, Muhammad did his best to compromise his teachings with
the predominant beliefs of the community’s elders, such as combining all 300 of
their idols under the name “Allah.” His amalgamation of Judeo-Christian
theology and pagan tradition grew more sophisticated over time. He also used
his "revelations from Allah" to repeatedly affirm his own position.
Even if he did not remember the Biblical stories correctly, for example, each
one was conspicuously modified to incorporate a common theme: "Believe in
the Messenger (Muhammad) or suffer the consequences.""
Mohammed was interested in
promoting his supposed 'prophet hood' and compromised the truth. He would later
be attacked in Mecca because Mohammed ATTACKED THEIR RELIGIONS - something you
accuse me of doing! According to this source, one of many, "Relations with
the Meccans turned particularly sour after an episode known as "the
Satanic Verses" in which Muhammad agreed
to recognize the local gods in addition to Allah. This delighted the Meccans,
who generously extended their welcome. But Muhammad soon changed his mind after
his own people began to lose faith in him. He claimed that Satan had spoken
through him, and he rescinded recognition of the Meccan gods (Tabari 1192,
Quran 22:52 & 53:19-26)."
Now Mohammed, the founder of the
'peaceful' religion of Islam (Islam means submission, to Mohammed and his false
god Allah, not 'peace'), "Muhammad rejected the offer of peaceful co-existence. His new
religion was obviously intended to dominate the others, not be on equal
standing with them. Meanwhile, the Muslims were beginning to become violent
with the people around them. Muhammad's search for political alliance led him
to make a treaty of war against the Meccans with the people of Medina, another
Arab town far to the north (Ibn Ishaq 299-301). This was the last straw for the
Meccans, who finally decided to capture Muhammad and put him to death. (see
also MYTH: Muhammad and his Muslims Fled Mecca because of Persecution)"
They failed. He fled, marking the
beginning of what you call the "Haj" where he fled from Mecca to
Medina. According to the historian,
"Stinging from the rejection of his own town and tribe, Muhammad's message
quickly become more intolerant and ruthless - particularly as he gained power.
Islam's holiest book clearly reflects this contrast, with the later parts of
the Quran adding violence and earthly defeats at the hands of Muslims to the woes of eternal
damnation that the earlier parts of the book promises those who will not
believe in Muhammad. It was at Medina that Islam evolved FROM a relatively
peaceful religion borrowed from others and INTO A MILITARY FORCE that was
intended to govern all aspects of society.
During these last ten years of
Muhammad's life, infidels were evicted or enslaved, converted upon point of
death and even rounded up and slaughtered depending on expediency." Clearly
Mohammed was no longer interested in peaceful existence. He WAGED WAR in the
name of his false god and in the name of his false-prophet hood. God did not
provide him with any miracles or signs. Mohammed raided caravans and stole and
robbed, hardly the work of a man of God. Often the people captured in battle
would be brought before the self-proclaimed prophet, where they would plead for
their lives, arguing, for example, that they would never have treated the
Muslims that way. The traditions are quite clear in portraying Muhammad as
largely unmoved by their pleas, and ordering their deaths anyway, often by horrible
means. In one case, he orders a man slain, telling him that “Hell” will take
care of the poor fellow’s orphaned daughter (Ishaq 459).
This trend would continue after
he was ascendant. First, to try and gain their favor, Muhammad briefly preached
that Christians and Jews could attain salvation through their own faith. In
fact, he changed his followers' direction for prayer from Mecca to Jerusalem,
which prompted the Jews' tolerance of him while he worked surreptitiously for the
power to evict them. These earlier concessions and teachings were later revoked
by Muhammad, since the Jews ultimately refused his religion. The rare early
verses of tolerance in the Quran are abrogated by later verses such as 9:29.
The Jews' knowledge of the Torah
naturally threatened the Muslim leader's credibility, since it easily refuted
the claims that he made about himself as a prophet of God. They also saw
through the Biblical narrations that he had picked up from second-hand sources
and knew that these contradicted established revelation. Conveniently, Allah
stepped in to tell Muhammad that the Jews had deliberately corrupted their own
texts to hide the very evidence of his own prophet hood that he had previously
insisted existed. (To this day, Muslims have never been able to produce a copy
of the "true" Torah or Gospel to which their own Quran refers). While the Jews
remained unconvinced by such obvious gimmickry, Arab polytheists converted to
Islam in large numbers, which soon gave Muhammad the power to make his
intentions clear that Islam would be imposed by force: While we were in the
Mosque, the Prophet came out and said, "Let us go to the Jews" We
went out till we reached Bait-ul-Midras. He said to them, "If you embrace
Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and
His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. So, if anyone amongst you
owns some property, he is permitted to sell it, otherwise you should know that
the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle." (Bukhari 53:392)
The Jews of Mecca were the first
in a very long line of unfortunate people to be offered the opportunity to
convert to Islam under obvious duress. Forcible conversion is very much a
Muslim tradition started by Muhammad and it continues to this DAY!
The Moslem tradition: convert or
DIE. A religion founded on violence, not peace, and spread by the sword! Indeed even in your Koran, they preach
violence, hence all the terrorism done today is done by Moslems. Look at the
following verses in your book:
Quran (2:191-193) - "And
kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned
you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing... but if they desist,
then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more
Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is
for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except
against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"
The historical context of this passage is not
defensive warfare, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina
and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge
offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city
(which they later did). The use of the word "persecution" by some
Muslim translators is thus disingenuous (the actual Muslim words for
persecution - "idtihad" - and oppression - a variation of
"z-l-m" - do not appear in the verse). The actual Arabic comes from
"fitna" which can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief
or temptation. Taken as a whole, the context makes clear that violence is being
authorized until "religion is for Allah" - i.e. unbelievers desist in
their unbelief.
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is
prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a
thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But
Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Not only does this verse establish that
violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is
intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under
attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a
time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding
merchant caravans for loot.
Quran (4:89) - "They but
wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing
(as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of
Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay
them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from
their ranks."
Your Koran is dripping with
Blood! These are but a few verses...which you reject. Mohammed's hand is
dripping in blood and sin and that is why his followers murder Christians and
other infidels to this day.
As for your comment that
"The age of consent in one of the American States was just 7 years, just
120 years ago!" that is ridiculous and you should be ashamed for saying
such a bold faced LIE! IN the USA there are various rules for the age of sexual
consent but none were ever as low as 7. Indeed, according to Wikipedia, in most
western countries in the 19th century, the lowest age recorded was about 10
years old and even that was not in the USA. Now it is min 16.
Any way you say it, Mohammed raped a little
girl and called her his wife. NO real prophet would engage or did engage in
such horrible acts. It proves again how degenerate he was. Moreover this trend
is common among false prophets as Joseph Smith the founder of Mormonism would
likewise take young 'wives' or little girls and rape them. Anyway you try to
defend it, you cannot. Mohammed was a child molester and though the standards
of marriage might have been different then, you can find no such equivalency in
the BIBLE, hence you can see that compared to them, again, Mohammed was no
prophet!
Here are some quotes that back
the idea that Islam is not only evil but intolerant and crushing of the human
spirit, by the authors who saw the expansion of this false faith:
"I studied the Quran a great deal.
I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have
been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad. As far as
I can see, it is the principal cause of the decadence so visible today in the Muslim
world and, though less absurd than the polytheism of old, its social and
political tendencies are in my opinion more to be feared, and I therefore regard
it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress in relation to
paganism itself." - Alexis-Charles-Henri
Clérel de Tocqueville (1805 – 1859) was a French political thinker and
historian best known for his Democracy in America and The Old Regime and the
Revolution.
"Islam was not a torch, as has
been claimed, but an extinguisher. Conceived in a barbarous brain for the use
of a barbarous people, it was - and it remains -incapable of adapting itself to
civilization. Wherever it has dominated, it has broken the impulse towards
progress and checked the evolution of society." - André Servier was an historian who lived in French Algeria at the
beginning of the 20th century.
"There’s only one faith, for
example, that kills you or wants to kill you if you draw a bad cartoon of the
prophet. There’s only one faith that kills you or wants to kill you if you renounce the faith...
obviously, most Muslim people are not terrorists. But ask most Muslim people in
the world, if you insult the prophet, do you have what’s coming to you? It’s
more than just a fringe element." - William
"Bill" Maher, Jr. (born January 20, 1956) is an American stand-up comedian,
television host, political commentator, author and actor. Maher currently ranks
number 38 on Comedy Central's 100 greatest stand-ups of all time, and has a
Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
"he [Muhammad] declared
undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all
the rest of mankind…The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who
deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God."
- John Quincy Adams (1767 – 1848) was the sixth
President of the United States.
"Show me just what Mohammed
brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman,
such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached" - Manuel II Palaiologos or Palaeologus (1350 – 1425) was
the Byzantine emperor from 1391 to 1425.
BELOW is the last comment before being banned.
HIs initial comment that sparked this is not longer accessible to me so I sent
this to him via private email on FB. I don't know if he received it or not as he has not replied to me as of this blog post being published:
I am replying in kind to you. But
I am not hiding my sources. I have provided you with information to counter the
falsehoods and misplaced things in your words. In the West we call this debate.
As you felt you could use words that were more 'put together' so I did the
same. But unlike the words you used, my friend, I didn't go to a Christian site
or some biased site as you did. I used historical evidences from sources such
as Wikipedia and others. I also quoted directly from George Sale's Koran
translation too. So my words are more valid than yours I believe. As for my
Christianity, you do not know my Christianity. I am told to speak the truth and
I have spoken it. I am sorry if these words seem harsh to you but of all the
people of any religion to talk about 'bullying' there are more bullies in Islam
than in any other faith. A man cannot speak his mind in an Islamic country or
to speak against Islam. THAT IS BULLYING and tyranny. Here you can. Here you
can speak freely without fear of arrest or torture or jail or death. In an
Islamic country these things I could fear because your religion is a tyranny
and that is why people of your faith, not mine, blow up buildings and kill
innocent people. In my faith, Christianity, we do not, even those like you who
are worshipping the lies of the devil. We let you believe in peace but speak to
you honestly too. I speak from love, but you do not receive it because I do not
love Islam or Mohammed. I speak for your soul's sake and mine because were I to
remain silent about the truth, I would be guilty of your soul's death. Having
spoken my words, my spirit can rest because I know I have spoken to you the
truth. You can LOL all you want but in hell there is no laughing and that is
why I speak out, to PREVENT you from going. I believe my God, the real God, can
speak to your soul and I believe He will break the chains that bind your mind
to the wickedness and lies of Mohammed. I pray it happens soon because
judgement is coming and I know my God, the TRUE GOD not the false god Allah,
will bring it about soon against those who reject the truth of the Gospel and
turn to the fables and lies of the Koran and Mohammed. And now you block me. You block the truth. May
God have mercy on you for turning your back on His word.
I will publish your comments in
my private blog in the hopes others may be warned of your treacherous and
blindness to the truth.
Peace.
